Kelly
Mathieson
West End leading lady and internationally renowned Soprano.
Scottish-born actress and singer Kelly Mathieson made her name in the musical theatre industry when she landed the lead role of Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera in London’s West End.
During her nearly three-year, award-winning run as Christine, Kelly also built a flourishing concert career, performing as a soloist at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Concert Hall Glasgow, and Cadogan Hall, where she played Tonia in the UK premiere of Dr Zhivago.
She has joined star-studded casts for UK tours of Christmas concerts with West End International, singing with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and Royal Northern Sinfonia, and recently represented the United Kingdom at Expo Dubai.
Kelly’s versatility has taken her around the world, with performances in Tokyo and Yokohama, appearances at NFL games before audiences of over sixty thousand people, and concerts at venues including Leeds Castle and Battersea Park. She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and recent tour with Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra in China. Kelly was picked to represent Julie Andrews 90th Birthday celebration with the BBC, RTE and Liverpool Philharmonic. She continues to make her mark both in the UK and internationally.
